Heart of Oregon AmeriCorp Youth Build

Placement Coordinator & Construction Trainer — Eco Haven (Cam) provided onsite training for Youth Build participants ages 16-24 while building homes for Habitat for Humanity in Central Oregon. From foundation to siding and more, each youth learned skills that enhanced their confidence and the way they show up in the world! In addition, the youth participated in building and networking skills to practice interviewing with local trades professionals, and coordinated with local business owners and leaders in order secure apprenticeships, internships and entry level employment in the local area trades.
